Joshua Furrh
Hello, I am Joshua Barrett Furrh, a professional landman in the Oil and Gas Industry.
I began my career in 2007 in the Oil & Gas Industry as a Landman with Four Sevens Energy. During my time with Four Sevens I participated and helped manage leasing, title and curative in over 10,000 acres throughout the Fort Worth Basin. At the beginning of 2010 I worked with Jimar Resources, expanding my horizons in due-diligence by researching leashold, existing production, title, and pipeline Right-of-Ways based in the Marcellus Shale and then Title Research, Title Curative and Leasing in the Haynesville Shale.
After working with Jimar, I went on to work at Purple Land Management as the Vice President of Land. Being one of the first hires at Purple Land Management, I was responsible for the development of the Land Department, overseeing the day-to-day business and projects while creating checks and balances, throughout the Utica Shale and Fort Worth Basin-Title, Curative, Due Diligence and Leasing.
Before going into the Oil & Gas Industry I led a professional career in the Outdoor Adventures world, since the age of 15, working in the fields of snow skiing, hiking, hunting, and fly-fishing. I also spent time working in the Film industry within the field of Production.
I enjoy doing what I can to give back to the community by being actively involved with Elizabeth Toon Charities and CREW-The Make-A-Wish Foundation, North Texas Chapter. I currently reside in Dallas, Texas with my wife.
